You might call ours a data driven love story! We me online (Match.com, nothing too frisky) Nick thought I was a Russian mail order bride partly due to typos in my profile and a photo in front of St. Basils Cathedral in Moscow. And, I thought Nick liked to sky dive based on a misread of his user name (skidvt)!Despite the fact that I speak better English than I write and Nick strongly prefers to keep both feet planted firmly on solid ground, we knew almost immediately on our first date that there was something special! Since our first slightly rushed workday lunch at Boqueria 7 years ago, we have traveled the world, raised three delinquent puppers and made a quirky fun life in DC, NYC and now ATX. We are excited to see what comes next!
After a day swimming in chum infested waters with great white sharks bigger than a Fiat, Nick poured sparkling rose and got down on one knee overlooking the setting sun across a South African plane to ask me to be his wife! We spent the rest of the evening smiling, laughing, telling the fam and planning all the fun things to come.
Everyone we have asked to come has played a big part in our long and winding love story. You are are closest friends, family and confidants and we could not imaging tying the knot without being able to celebrate with you!
